2010 PROGRAMS

During our second year, The Center and the Colony offered workshops from May 23, 2010 through September 12, 2010 in various areas of creative writing.  These workshops were open to students and writers through an application process, based on merit, beginning on January 10, 2010. The faculty for these workshops are established teachers, writers and editors. 

The Center and the Colony offered fellowships from July 5, 2010 through August 1, 2010 for emerging writers and mentors for this program were accomplished authors.  Applications for Fellowships were available since January 1, 2010 and closed on March 15, 2010. 

The deadline for applications has passed for the 2010 Mailer Fellows and workshop participants.

The Center's Fall, Winter and Spring Writers Retreat Program is being offered beginning November 1, 2010 through May 1, 2011.  These applications are now available under the Writers Retreat Program >  Fall, Winter and Spring section of this Website.
